The perspective technologies and equipment for the infrastructure of the Russian continental shelf facilities were discussed within the round table, started during the Exhibition "Offshore Marintec Russia" and St. Petersburg International Energy Forum.
October 8 the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted the grand Opening Ceremony of the International Specialised Offshore Exhibition and Conference Offshore Marintec Russia dedicated to development of continental shelf infrastructure and the 14th St. Petersburg International Energy Forum.
This is the main topic of the plenary session held today in the framework of Offshore Marintec Russia conference and exhibition. The session was attended by federal executive and legislative authorities, scientists, top managers of the largest Russian companies, specialising in hydrocarbon extraction, storage and transportation.
The first hours of the International Specialised Offshore Exhibition and Conference Offshore Marintec Russia dedicated to development of continental shelf infrastructure highlighted the visit of St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko and Alexei Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom. The top-level guests were demonstrated the exposition and spoke to the representatives of the largest Russian and foreign companies.
The International Specialised Offshore Exhibition and Conference Offshore Marintec Russia dedicated to development of continental shelf infrastructure has opened its doors today at Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre hosting a vast number of international participants. Companies signed contracts for long-term operation of three vessels for the Sakhalin-2 project
Moscow, 7 July 2014: Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd. (Sakhalin Energy) and Sovcomflot Group (Sovkomflot) have signed contracts for the construction and long-term operation of three multifunctional icebreaking standby vessels to serve the Sakhalin-2 offshore energy platforms. Operations under the contract will continue for 20 years. The vessels will be used as year round personnel carrier and also as supply vessels for offshore platforms in the Sea of Okhotsk. In case of emergency, the vessels will be deployed for personnel evacuation and oil spill response.
Rosneft has started field works at five license blocks of the Barents and Pechora Seas: East Prinovozemelsky, located in the North-Eastern part of the Barents sea near the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, Perseevsky, located in the North-Western part of the Barents sea, and at the South Russky, South Prinovozemelsky and West Matveevsky license blocks, located in the Pechora Sea.
